Quick Start Guide

Get started with Finterion in just 5 minutes. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to start automating your investments.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you'll need:

  • A Finterion account (Register here)
  • A supported broker or exchange account
  • API credentials from your broker/exchange

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Go to finterion.com/register
  2. Choose "Investor" as your account type
  3. Complete the registration form
  4. Verify your email address

Step 2: Connect Your Broker

Once logged in, connect your broker or exchange:

  1. Navigate to DashboardSettingsConnections
  2. Click Add Connection
  3. Select your broker or exchange from the list
  4. Enter your API credentials

Security Note: We only request read and trade permissions. We never have access to withdraw funds from your account.

Step 3: Create a Portfolio

A portfolio is where your trading bot will manage your investments:

  1. Go to DashboardPortfolios
  2. Click Create Portfolio
  3. Give it a name (e.g., "My Crypto Portfolio")
  4. Select the broker/exchange connection
  5. Set your initial allocation

Step 4: Subscribe to a Trading Bot

Now let's add a trading bot to your portfolio:

  1. Browse the Store to find a trading bot
  2. Review the bot's performance metrics
  3. Click Subscribe
  4. Select which portfolio to connect
  5. Confirm your subscription

Step 5: Monitor Your Performance

Once subscribed, you can monitor your portfolio:

  • View real-time positions and P&L
  • Track orders and trade history
  • Analyze performance metrics
  • Receive notifications on important events
